oh how i long for new orleans: the food, the atmosphere, the music, the smell of bourbon st. (ok, maybe not), and the good old let-me-down saints.

fear not, my friend, the smell of bourbon st. hasn't changed one bit. it was still as nice as it was when we went the time before. i must be honest, however, and note that the cajun cabin's etouffe wasn't quite as spot-on as it was been before. it was good, but not quite perfect. the music and atmosphere seemed remarkably even greater than before. it was really quite interesting. atmospherically, it was a good bit more relaxed and yet still lively and fun. there seems to be more peace there. [i don't know.]
